Intervención: AECID’s Specialized Medical Training Program for the development of specialized hospital medical services. It aims to help developing countries move towards universal health coverage, increasing access to essential specialized medical care for the entire population, thus reducing the existing gap for this access, and sharing the knowledge and experience of the Spanish health system and its professionals.

Servicio: Support to the Department of Sectorial Cooperation (DCS) for the implementation and accompaniment of the Directorate of the Specialized Medical Training Program (SMTP) of AECID, in the governance and scientific and technical monitoring of the programs developed in the different countries, and its coordination at headquarters within the framework of the Program, as well as the scientific support to other technical cooperation programs in health managed by the DCS; technical support to the Technical Secretariat accompanying the SMTP, whose specific services and the characteristics of its material execution will be defined in the technical specifications approved for its contracting.
